America: Why I Love Her is the tenth and final episode from the fifth season of Squidbillies. It first aired July 18th, 2010 on Adult Swim.

Synopsis[]

Terror ensues after Early shoots a cow belonging to Al-Qaeda.

Plot[]

A very special Squidbillies musical in which Early and the rest of the group sing about how much they love the United States of America, while defending Dougal County against al-Qaeda's plot to invade Alabama.

  • Lil Cuyler doesn't appear in this episode, however, her Meth Lab is seen at one point.
  • This is the first and only musical episode. This episode also contains lot of references from previous episodes.
  • This is the first of four half-hour episodes. (with the others are being "Thou Shale Not Drill", "Dove In An Iron Cage", and "Muscadine Wine")
  • This is the second episode that plays on the Squidbillies Volume 4 DVD.
    • Also despite this episode being the season 5 finale. This is the second episode of the season to be produced according to the production order on the Volume 4 DVD.
  • Early and Rusty firing at a squirrel with a bow and arrow, wearing a banana hunting hat and a pumpkin hunting hat is a reference to the Season 2 episode "Butt Trouble".
  • Steve is revealed to work as a Salad Bar Waiter in this episode. His eyes are also revealed for the second time in a episode with the first one being "Armageddon It On!"
  • The goldfish from the lake, that Early drained are recycled from "Gimmicky Magazine Show Spoof Parody About Dan Halen".
  • President Obama is mentioned again due to birth certificate since he was born in Hawaii by a raccoon, it is mentioned as not be being a state, however, Hawaii is an actually United States state.
  • The blonde girls in bikinis with Early on the beach is a reference to "Holodeck Redneck".
  • The man holding a baby from "Terminus Trouble" and later "Velvet Messiah" being ran over by Early on his truck during the nighttime, is a reference to the Season 4 premiere "Lerm", which in that episode they were ran over by Early and Lerm.
