Boyd's Wife is the unnamed wife of Boyd. She was first mentioned by Boyd in "Velvet Messiah", where it is revealed that he is apparently unable to satisfy his wife anymore. She is mentioned again in "Dove In An Cage" where she is mentioned by the Sheriff, who mentions that her husband had leukemia and didn't have any health insurance, so his wife shot him so she can collect life insurance and blamed the murder on Rusty. This effects the main plot of the episode and explains why Rusty was put in jail in the first place.
Boyd's wife did eventually make her first physical appearance in the Season 12 premiere "Forever Autumn", replacing Boyd. She sits on a chair next to a desk with Glenn and one of Dan Halen's unnamed workers as she listens to Dan Halen's new LEAF project in a meeting. She doesn't speak in the episode.
She makes her second and final physical appearance in the series' finale "This Show Was Called Squidbillies", where she attends Granny Cuyler's funeral. She also makes a cameo on the Cuyler's family tree, alongside her husband.
