- This is the first appearance of Squid Jesus in the series. It is also the first time Dan Halen is absent and where we see Krystal since "This Show Is Called Squidbillies".
- Rusty has a dead chipmunk during the first part of the episode.
- The drawings of the cotton gin inventor Eli Whitney, Crawford Long, the slam dunk inventor Larry Bird, and all of the other people (one of which being a naked woman covering her breasts) on the belly and left leg of the Sheriff have the same design and likeness as him.
- This episode was originally rated TV-MA but it was changed to TV-14 DLV.
