Leroy Cuyler is a minor character in Squidbillies. He is voiced by the co-creator of the show; Dave Willis.

Biography[]

Leroy is a elderly employee that works as a greeter at Ballmart, who rides in a wheelchair.

In his debut episode, when Galvin greets people such as Granny into Ballmart, Leroy states that he is the official greeter of Ballmart, he then proceeds to greet both Galvin and Granny to Ballmart, despite the latter being on the Ballmart DNG list, which states for "do not greet", since she as Granny doesn't buy nothing at Ballmart.

When Bobby comes around to tell Galvin to stop greeting people at Ballmart's doors, Leroy thought that Bobby was talking to him, since he was hired to greet people, when Bobby was referring to Galvin and not Leroy. Leroy then gets mad at Galvin after Bobby explains the "do not greet" list, Leroy then mentions that "she's" (referring to Granny) got no-one, due to her being lonely.

After Galvin makes a mockery of Leroy's greetings with Granny, he told the both of them to leave Ballmart because of this, which Galvin claims to be a fine "how do you do", which Leroy was thought was fine, and has been professionally trained to deliver it. The two then left Ballmart after that.

Other Appearances[]

"Cooler-Heads Prevail"[]

Leroy greets Early Cuyler at the entrance of Ballmart, however, Bobby then interrupts this as Early has his Sasquatch Cooler, which he bought into the store with him, but he can't enter the building with the cooler, due to all of its smokes. Leroy then gets mad at Early, with an upset face. He also looks at the Malamute cooler brand. Later on, after Early shows him and Bobby some ice from his cooler, he yells at Early to "Get on, and don't come back unless you gonna buy something", which Early then proceeds to leave the store, bringing the cooler with him.

"One Man Banned"[]

Leroy was first seen sleeping on the job before being waken up by Granny, in a disguise as a man with Rusty, while wiggling her tentacle in the middle, before they were caught by Bobby.

Later on, in the episode, Leroy is seen stocking gallons of diet Pineapple soda, until Rusty was sneaking gallons into a horse disguise, controlled by Granny. One of these gallons then rolls over to Leroy, who then discovers Rusty in the bottom of the horse disguise. After this, Rusty moves the horse disguise away while Granny grabs the family sized jar/bottle of morning-after pills away from the local Pharmacy in Ballmart.

Leroy watches them and then grabs one pair of orange cords on a wall of cords and uses them as a whip to catch and stop them. Rusty and Granny are then trapped into a empty pool from Bobby, and resulting in a lifetime ban from Ballmart. When Early burgled a huge collection of shrimp from Krystal while disguised as a horse, Leroy discovers the disguise as a second separate horse, he claims that "its a stampede" and moves away, stating that it is "every man for himself."

"Let ’er R.I.P."[]

Leroy makes a small cameo at The Jiggle Hut, watching a Stripper.

"Scorn on the 4th of July"[]

Leroy was revealed to be a veteran, that served, as he got a free veteran dance with a stripper, which he called "Blondie", at the Jiggle Hut, was given a free drink from Ellis, not owing anything, when asking Ellis, who states that his money isn't no good there, Leroy also mentioned to the stripper that he can appreciate her trying, and he also got half of his ding-a-ling blown off in Da Nang.

Since Leroy was a veteran, he is revealed to be a member of a motorcycle group called the Wounded Warriors, as he was seen with the group throughout the episode, alongside Sharif, Glenn, and Early Cuyler, which the latter technically lied about being a veteran. Leroy has also stated that the "V" on his chest stands for "Vancouver", not Vietnam, when asked by Deputy Denny, who also asks about his legs, which Leroy mentions that he was draining syrup from a maple tree, and it fell on his spine, Denny told him to rub maple syrup on the hands of Sharif, to use a rope to tied it to a tree, so Denny can use the rope to save Early and Ellis after a plane crash that happened during the Fourth of July.

He was last seen saluting with Glenn at a Fourth of July service to honor Denny, for his service, despite the latter never serving, though, he did save Early and Ellis from the plane crash.

"The Liceman Cometh"[]

Like many people in Dougal County, Leroy was infected by the recent head lice outbreak that happened, where the townsfolk have been itching their heads because of the said head lice, Leroy is first seen in the episode glaring at Early, alongside Glenn, Sharif, and Dan Halen, while itching his hair from the said lice.

Later on in the episode, Leroy is seen at Ballmart when Early is heading towards the building with all of his trucker hats stacked on his head, as Sharif told everyone to be at their stations. When Early enters the building after going through with all of his stacked trucker hats, Leroy has a picket sign saying the words "Free Hats Today!", while he then greets Early to Ballmart, with a "Hello" and a "Welcome", and hold his picket sign for free hats today. He was told to stay with Early and funnel him toward the hats, according to Sharif. Leroy chases after Early Cuyler in the store, who says that he looks like a hat man, and that they're giving out free hats today only, and told him to come over to the hats, but Early stated after lunch instead, as he can't pick out no hats on an empty stomach.

After Early licks the toes off of Krystal, from the Ballmart Deli, Sharif tells Leroy to "Get him out of there", and heads toward Early to stretch and pull him and all of his stacked hats off of Krystal's toes, as they he knows that they got free hats and tells him to "Don't forget" as the free hats are going away quick.

At the trucker hat section of Ballmart, Leroy told Early to pick out any hat he likes for fit and finish, while the latter saying "Let's see", as he sees the "Itch, Please" trucker hat, and stated "That's a little bit too highbrow" for him then checks the "Lice like good head" hat, but he didn't care for the double entendre, he thinks that he is gonna take one of the tube socks, which isn't one of the trucker hats.

A little bit later, after Early's head lice were killed, from being sprayed by Bobby, and puts back on his hat stack, he is getting away from the store, Denny told Leroy that he is suppose to grab the hats, as Leroy chases Early, who then exits out of the store and Leroy stops, as Denny replies with a "Damn it."

"This Show Was Called Squidbillies"[]

In Leroy's final appearance in the series, Tammi says that "It's tough being single", Leroy comes over to Bobby and Tammi, who are having their first date, to state that he is single, before Bobby tells him to roll along, as he leaves.

After Tammi gets away from Bobby, Leroy is last seen moving pass Bobby and the table to ask Tammi if she is right about being under 30, as he won't date anyone over 30.
