God is Squid Jesus' father who, unlike his son and enemy Satan, appears in the form of a thundercloud as opposed to a Squid. He first appears in the episode "Armageddon It On!", who assumed that the rapture happening in Dougal County was one of Satan's tricks, due to him always messing with God and Jesus and the rapture was confirmed to be a parable, which he has been over him with Jesus, and says that to him when he never listens. He later makes a cameo appearance in the "Velvet Messiah", where he talks to Squid Jesus in Heaven. He has a half-brother who appears in the episode "God's Bro". He is voiced by Larry Munson.
