Keeping It in the Family Way is the fifth episode of the sixth Season of Squidbillies, it first aired on October 9, 2011 on [Adult Swim], this episode marks the debut of Tammi in the show.


Rusty finds a girlfriend and has sex for the first time. Early, infatuated with Rusty's girlfriend, becomes upset to and tries to break them up. Rusty later finds out that he is going to be a father and comes looking for her only to find that she has run away to be with her mother. He finds her and discovers that they are "cousins".

  • This episode marks the official debut of Tammi.
  • Sheriff doesn't appear in this episode, now this is the third episode where he is absent, however Sheriff is mentioned by Tammi & Early.
  • This Episode reveals Rusty & Tammi are actually half-siblings (which they mistake as "cousins ") since they were born by the same mother Krystal, the fathers are different, this doesn't stop them from falling in love, which is incest.
  • Ga Ga Pee Pap from "Dead Squid Walking" is mentioned by Early.
  • Judge & Counselor from "Terminus Trouble" reappear in court at the end of this episode because Early shot Tammi in the head.
  • A continuation of this episode is the Season 7 Premiere "Rusty and Tammi Sitting in a Tree, B-A-S-T-A-R-D", which takes place 9 months later after Rusty & Tammi had sex.
