Characters/Cast[]

Trivia[]

  • This episode marks the first appearance of Glenn, who is voiced by Todd Barry (which is the same voice actor of Dr. Bug) instead of Dave Willis in this episode.
  • Glenn's Wife is referred to "Donna" by Early when he talks to her, although she is simply referred to as "Glenn's Wife" in later episodes such as "The Many Loves of Early Cuyler", "Asbestos I Can", and "Stop, Jammer Time" respectively.
  • This is the only episode in the entire series to show the dangerous side effects of Glug. They are never seen again in other episodes.
  • Space Baby from the pilot episode makes a cameo being affected by Glug during the final parts of this episode (alongside several other characters such as Snakeman). He also made one more cameo in the Season 3 episode "Pile M For Murder".
  • The dead corpse of the rabbit from the previous episode "Family Trouble" makes a cameo at the end of this episode.
  • The truck that we see driving through the burning town of Dougal County at the end of the episode is the same one that Billy Morton was hit by in “This Show Is Called Squidbillies”.
  • This is the only episode of the season where the Sheriff and Lil don't speak.

Cultural References[]

  • Evan mentions someone named "Wolf Man". This is presumably a reference to the 1941 film The Wolf Man.
  • In the Glug commercial, you can hear background music from the popular Nickelodeon show Spongebob Squarepants and the voice of Carl Brutananadilewski, one of the main characters, from the Adult Swim series Aqua Teen Hunger Force in it.
    • We also see three Glug points that show a one eyed triangle above a pyramid, which is likely a reference to the iLLuminati.
