Trivia[]
- This episode marks the first appearance of Glenn, who is voiced by Todd Barry (which is the same voice actor of Dr. Bug), instead of Dave Willis in this episode.
- Glenn's Wife is referred to "Donna" by Early in this episode. Though, she is simply referred to as "Glenn's Wife" later on in "The Many Loves of Early Cuyler" and "Asbestos I Can" respectively.
- This is the only episode in the entire series to show the dangerous side effects of Glug. These side effects are never seen again after this episode.
- Space Baby from the pilot episode makes a cameo being effected by Glug during the final parts of this episode (alongside several other characters such as Snakeman). This creature also made one more cameo in the Season 3 episode "Pile M For Murder."
- The dead corpse of the Rabbit from the previous episode "Family Trouble" makes a cameo at the end of this episode.
- This is the only episode of Season 1 where the Sheriff and Lil don't speak.
References & Allusions[]
- Evan mentions someone named "Wolf Man." This is presumably a reference to the 1941 film The Wolf Man.
- Background music from the popular Nickelodeon show Spongebob Squarepants can be heard in one scene in the Glug Commercial.
- The voice of Carl Brutananadilewski, one of the main characters of the Adult Swim series Aqua Teen Hunger Force is heard in the Glug commercial.
