Prosperity is a female character who appears in "Lipstick On A Squid".
History[]
She is a brown headed girl protesting at the Animal Research Center. She is friends with Rusty Cuyler, she is first seen when Early, Rusty, and Granny are in the truck. She is protesting Animal Rights, yelling in a microphone. Her first lines are "Animals feel pain, too!" She gives a little Animal Rights booklet to a golf woman. Rusty mentioned that she doesn't like them getting tested due to Animal Rights. Prosperity is seen holding a picture of a injured chimpanzee, she yells at people in the microphone, "Look at this chimp! Was his eyesight worth thicker, longer-lasting lashes?" Granny shows with makeup on her face saying "Jealous much, bitch?!". Prosperity hands down a little Animal Rights booklet. She says "Please just read this". Early told her he was fine, Prosperity said "Please". Rusty grabs it. The next morning, The three Cuylers head back to the Animal Research Center. Prosperity yells "You're a pawn in society's oppression against women!". Early walks off. Prosperity then yells "Why should defenseless animals -- Hey, Rusty". Rusty says "Morning, Prosperity", she yells out "Die to test the cosmetics that". Granny yells at her. Ruby Jean stated while she used the microphone, she looked like a gorilla in a leg lock. Ruby told she could take paint from the protest signs and put a color on her cheeks, she might find a man.
Later after Rusty's hair is removed. Rusty walks out to Prosperity. She says "Whoa, dude, what's up with your dome?". Rusty mentioned he tested new hair spray. Rusty grabs the hair spray and told Prosperity to try it on her ankles. She said "No". Rusty told her she will be much prettier with smoother ankles. Prosperity told Rusty "That's not necessity". Rusty says "It's just what men like to see, baby, here let me hit you with a squirt". She moves away from the spray. Prosperity tells Rusty "Look, aren't you worried about your dad and your weird uncle in there?" Rusty says "Look, Prosperity, you seem real nice and all, but this job gives my daddy a purpose". Rusty also mentioned the job gives a honest wage and all the cheese that he can eat.
Later during the night, Rusty with a small pink mustache walks to Prosperity. She says "Hey, lab rat, how's it going?". Rusty told he wasn't his lab rat, because the people would inject with AIDS. Rusty told her if her friends would do that to her. Prosperity says "Those lab people aren't your friends, they don't care about you, you're just part of their agenda". Rusty mentioned she cared about him. Prosperity agreed. "Of course I do!" "That's why I'm here to burn this fucking lab down". She throws a burning bottle into a window. Security alarms go off. Rusty told it was arson. She replies "God! Don't you want to fit in with anyone?". Rusty throws a another burning bottle which he got from her and throws it into it.
Rusty and Prosperity are seen watching the burning Animal Research Center. Prosperity says "It's So beautiful". Rusty tells her "Hey, it's still nickel pitcher night down at Bucky's, maybe me and you can get down on there and see what kind of mess, we can get into". Prosperity says "I-I'm experimenting with my sexuality, Rusty, but not this much". Rusty replied she said she loves animals. Prosperity told Rusty she doesn't make love to them. She finds it to be gross. Rusty replies "Well, you ain't no damn prize, neither! and if you love animals so damn much, how about releasing them before you set fire to the lab?!" Rusty runs away from her.
