Trivia[]

  • This is the first season to switch over to the high-definition widescreen format. Along with this, the quality of animation improved, due to this and future seasons being solely computer-animated.
  • Despite being the third season, this season was included on the Volume 2 DVD.
  • Due to this season having over twenty episodes, this season currently has the highest amount of character deaths in the show, with the exceptions of the episodes "Tween Steam" and "Mephistopheles Traveled Below to a Southern State Whose Motto Is 'Wisdom, Justice and Moderation'" which are the only episodes where no onscreen, offscreen or implied character deaths happen, however the latter episode, does feature the appearances of Squid Jesus and Squid Satan.
