Trivia[]
- On Adult Swim's synopsis of this episode, that is listed on Adult Swim.com, the only words related to the description of this episode are listed as "Sheriff does."
- At the beginning of the episode, at Sharif's house, Rusty mentions about the security system, which is called the "Fortress of Solitude" package, where every room is covered with glass break detectors, motion sensors, anti-prowler strobe lights, and Rusty then says "hell, I'll throw in" a doorbell camera, with no extra charge. Rusty asks if this sounds good for him. Sharif asks that there probably "ain't" a safer place in the whole county than where "you're standing right this minute". He then mentions "sure" because while he is a sheriff, but on the DL, he also a ninja too, who then throws his star like a ninja, but hits the wall and falls to the ground.
- After the ninja throwing, Sharif tells him "just imagine if that as human flesh, instead of that damn hard oak", while Rusty responds with a "Well, then," if he maybe consider the "Lip service" package, where the company rents him three window stickers and a yard sign for $4.99 a month. Now, it doesn't include no monitoring, but he won't tell nobody if he won't.
- Dan Halen's name is mentioned on these three stickers and said yard sign, from "Dan Halen Security Solutions", which is protected by Dan Halen Sheet Rock International.
- Rusty also does a "wink, wink", by saying the word and winking at the same time.
- After this, Sharif told him "Sorry, son, but you're trying to sell ice to an eskimo here", but then asks Rusty if anybody can still say the word "eskimo", "in this, Me Too" era. Sharif then decided to go with "Native Ice Man" instead, as Rusty exits the door.
- This episode reveals that Sharif has a very big safe, that contains a mask inside it, when Sharif told Rusty "Alright, now, I gonna get to work", and carried the safe outside of the door, Rusty told to hold on for a minute, because he asks what he is hauling in the safe, but told him "that's none of your bees wax", since the safe has a mask inside it.
- Rusty also mentioned its so valuable, and asks him that he takes it to work with him, while Sharif grunts while carrying the said safe, Rusty asks why not let the Halen Security turn his own house into a safe, then he ain't got to haul it around everywhere, while Sharif continues to grunt, after putting his safe into the back of his police car, which one of its tires then pops. Sharif then mentioned a "Alright", to show him the paperwork.
- At Tammi's trailer/house, Rusty has over 8, 9, and 10 bucks of dollar bills, that he counted, that he gives to Tammi, who stated that he made a big sale, he then brings out a iPod that has Sharif's signature on it, which was a full "Fortress of Solitude" package, Rusty even mentioned that Sharif went with the "damn" strobe lights, stating total window dressing.
- After saying this, Tammi smells someone inside, and asks about the said smell, and stated "it's like a raccoon died in the crawl space", which turns out to be Early, dropping down to the ceiling.
- When Early comes down from the ceiling, he asks "A little birdie done told me you done good this morning." "And that little birdie is me", who also turns around, then drops to the ground, while Tammi glares at him.
- After seeing Early, Tammi asked that the security system was going to keep Early out, but the latter stated that marking their house with a bunch of Dan Halen security signs, that he is holding, Early asked might as well tell the whole world "Here's where the money is!", and asks "Though by the looks of what I see in here", he ought to sue him for false advertising. He was told by Tammi to "get out" of the home.
- Early mentions a "Alright", since he is leaving the home, but he mentions that he sees that Sharif's got "some of these" fancy yard signs. Rusty asked what he meant by that, as Early mentions that "Security is a illusion", as he thinks that there is only 79 things in the world that really make you safe, and as he is on top of the home, he mentions that they're called dogs, as he leaves while riding a dog.
- The clip of Early riding a dog, leaving from Tammi's trailer/home, was originally used in the Season 13 trailer, and was part of the thumbnail.
- When Early rides the dog, he takes off his hat, holds it, via tentacle, spins it, and then said out the words "Ya-Ya!, Whoo!".
- At Sheriff's Office, Denny noticed that he didn't bring his safe today, that is back at the Sheriff's house, which is technically now a safe now, the former place of this safe was previously covered by a line of yellow police tape, and three signs, on the wall, are visible saying the words "Do not touch", "Hands off", and "Property of Sharif". Thanks to Dan Halen's Security, Sharif can view over 20 cameras in his house, for his safe, and told Denny to check it out, which 12 of these cameras can to be seen on his laptop, which shows the location of his safe.
- When Sharif and Denny are viewing the cameras, a telephone can be heard ringing.
- Denny also asked Sharif if he got all of these cameras, why'd he chain it up his safe, which Sharif asks about the chain, which isn't his chain, which was the chain from Early's truck, that break opens a hole in the wall from the safe, that is then stolen by Early.
- After Sharif watches his own safe being stolen, via cameras, he asks "Oh, my God!", who then answers his phone for a "Hello!", as Glenn's voice is heard speaking on the phone; with the words "Yes, we have a break-in reported at", being heard before Sharif said he knows, as he say a "damn it", because he just saw it, and mentions his "Fortress of Solitude" when leaving the door, out of the office.
- Back at the Cuyler house, Early drives his truck, chained with the stolen safe, and told Granny what he found at Sharif's house, which the latter (Granny) tells him how he is going to open it, but the former (Early) got the combination right there, and tells Ruby to tape it up, since he doesn't wanna be near the blast zone, as she'd never believe what people just leave laying by the curb, as he states that a garage man ain't gonna pick up all this mess. Granny, taping the target, stated that he "oughta" get a medal or something, helping him take garbage right out of this house. Early thought it was "Perfectly legal, too", Granny agreed with "yeah" as she believed him, and told him just don't shoot until she is clear, with a "okay", though, she only got three seconds left, Granny told him if she can give her three Mississippi's, but was told three Utah's instead, which she didn't agreed with, while Early does two Utah's, to one, as the 12 gauge shotgun blasts the safe, which causes an explosion and damage. The safe was also busted out opened with the Sheriff's mask (Who Gives A Flip) revealed from the outside, which Early wears, and thought they were rich, as richer than hell, but Early questioned the mask with a "What the hell", as he thinks.
- When heading to the safe to wear the said mask, Early said to Granny "You're lucky I ain't counting with Maine!".
- When Early sees the mask from the safe, he says "Woooo-weee!", and "Lookie, lookie" two times respectively.
- Early thought that the Who Gives a Flip mask was "some kinda sex thing."
- At the hole of the wall being broken into the wall, courtesy of Early Cuyler, Sharif stated the safe (and the mask) ain't another one like it anywhere in the world, he mentions "what kind of poop show" that Rusty's running "here", Rusty assumes that he shouldn't have put out the yard sign, as he means that does kind of tell the world, "Here's where the money is!", but Sharif told him that it wasn't money, and calls him a "dip-poop!" as he said "impenetrable", and on day one his most prized possession is then gone, Rusty then thought that definitely somebody who knew about the system, which was Early.
- Rusty remembers that Early said that the Sheriff has got one of "these" fancy yard signs at his house from last night, and an another one shows Early with a bible stack, stating "I hereby swear on this stack of bibles" that he isn't gonna steal nothing from the Sheriff, and Early riding a dog as he is going to the Sheriff's house to steal him something.
- It is revealed that Early has over 79 dogs in his house, that are chewing and tearing up the stack of bibles inside, and aforementioned former puts a "Beware of dog" sign for all 79 of them. When back at the house, Rusty told Early to get back outside, as he needed to talk with him, but he "ain't" in there because he is next to a tree, and asks Rusty if he hears all of the angry "damn" dogs.
- Dog feces can be seen around the floor when all of the dogs are in the house.
- Early said to Rusty that he recently came in to something valuable and he needed real security, which kind that only 79 angry dogs can provide, making him place the said "Beware of dog" sign, and Rusty asking his father that he broke into the Sheriff's house, if he didn't or not.
- Early: "What?, with these wild accusations, I oughta sue your ass for slather!" as he swears on a stack of bibles, which Rusty says, as Early would "damn" sure would, even though, the stack of bibles are inside the house with all of the aforementioned dogs right now. Though, Early told Granny to fetch him the stack of bibles, which "ain't" a stack anymore, as Granny mentioned it looked more like a pile since the dogs chewed and teared up all of those books.
- The robot chair from "Blue Lives Battered", returns, as Granny is on it again.
- One of the teared up books hits the robot chairs' switch, where the chair goes done to the ground with all of the dogs, Granny told the dogs "Nice doggy doggy", but then attacked by them instead, but asked about the disarm button, Rusty, concern about Granny, then opened the door, but the dogs appeared out the door barking, as Rusty shuts the door to get back, which the latter tells "Sorry" for him.
- Rusty told Early to look as he didn't know what he took from the Sheriff (the safe and mask), but whatever it was, it messed him up big time, and he needs a friend, even a "sh*tty" one like Early.
- At The Jiggle Hut, when Sheriff is depressed about his most possession gone, the Blondie Stripper then reappears, asking him "Hey, baby, whatchu need?", as he stated that he doesn't know how this works, but he got nothing to live for, so he might as well see a butt and some boobies at least once before he dies, which was over $10, but Sharif gives her a card for 1% cash back on qualifying purchases instead. Similar to "Rich Dan, Poor Dan", she then calls Ellis, who is a DJ, Sharif then covers his arms to protect himself, before the said stripper organizes his body for her to strip.
- The music in the Jiggle Hut sings the lyrics; "Milk, milk, lemonade, around the back, I get paid.", "Around the back, my money's made."
- When stripping for the Sheriff, the stripper mentioned that she couldn't "find it", and asked "where it is?", which he mentioned it in his abdomen, which retracts when he is upset.
- Ellis gives Sharif a chocolate glass drink, that is called a one Virgin Mississippi Mud Slide, which is just chocolate milk, when give to Sharif, he says "Gimme that", and drinks, Ellis then told him to just sip it, since he'll get brain freeze, but Sharif doesn't look like he cared at all, since he is dealing with a man who's got nothing to lose while he fires his handgun, while he says "Oh god' to his head as he gets a brain freeze, due to his depression.
- People are then heard screaming, while Ellis and the Blondie Stripper run away from Sharif after firing his handgun, and Early, carrying his 12 gauge, telling him to "Don't shoot", but he was sorry to hear him being robbed, despite Early being the responsible for the said robbery, but he asks what he can do when a criminal mastermind is on the loose, which is ironic since Early is still heavy responsible for it.
- Sharif said that "they" took the only thing of value, what he calls "in this poop-turd of a life". When Early asks about how much value is exactly, more than 500 dollars or less than 5,000 dollars, while on his phone, asking Sharif if he can give him a ballpark "here", as he shows the mask on a website that is interestingly called "Overbid."
- When reacting to his mask on Overbid, he mentions "My god!, they're selling it?", then a "oh, oh", and mentions "who gives a flip?", before putting the phone down and sobbing.
- On the Overbid website, Sharif's mask is called "Some Kinda Sex Thing.", which is over 10,000 dollars, with 12.99 dollar shipping, which has zero bids, and ends in 2 days and 19hours.
- Est. Delivery is listed as "July 23", suggesting that this episode takes place in the month of July, in the middle of the summer of 2021.
- Early, acting like he didn't do the robbery of some sort, mentions "that's why", he is saying, as he means, "whoever's" selling it ain't got no "damn" bids, ain't got no looks, and "hell it ain't" favorited by no "damn" body, before Sharif "No", because Who-Gives-A-Flip was the name of his character that he wore during the summer Olympics of 1996, that Atlanta was hosting at the time.
- Dylan's mother and Dylan himself from "Forever Autumn" makes cameos in the flashbacks of the 1996 Olympics and the latter is seen with the children when Sharif is in his costume at an another competition.
- Boyd makes a non-speaking cameo in a flashback.
- Boyd's cameo in this flashback marks his second reappearance after his death in "Dove In An Iron Cage", since an another non-speaking cameo in the episode "The Knights of the Noble Order of the Mystic Turquoise Goblet."
- As revealed in the Olympics flashback, Sharif mentioned that he auditioned for the mascot "Whatizit", or "Izzy" for short, but he was afraid that he didn't get it, and mentions "Let's just say white privileges doesn't always come through when you're competing against other whites", but they did have various regional knockoffs such as someone dressed as a peanut named Whodatiz, a peach named Whatchamadiddle, and ThingAMAJig, which the latter is a Mexican is dressed as, Sharif was landed the role as Who-Gives-A-Flip at the white water competition in Ducktown, preforming and dancing to a parody of "Cotton Eye Joe", while it was going on.
- When in the costume, he would monkey shine with the kids, cut a jig to the "Cotton Eye Joe" song parody, even preform some hijinks with the medalists, by pulling one of the medalists pants down to reveal his underwater, while the other two would laugh at him, because of Sharif. For those three weeks, the eyes of the world were on him, and 25 years later, they ain't looked back since.
- Early then told him to just hit the "Buy now" button, and he can be whole again, from what little attention he paid to his tedious tale of woe 10 grand is a small price to pay to make somebody very, very happy.
- When Sharif hears this, he'll maybe, he might go hunt that "mother-fudger" down and kill him myself, which Early told "whoa" for, and Sharif then gunpoint's Ellis as he said to keep the mudslides coming, which Ellis says "Yes, sir, right away!", and then it had GD better be teaming with marshmallows, because he is anything but "mallow" right now.
- Back at the house, when Rusty is trying to grab the mask costume with a hook at night, but couldn't get the thing out, all of the dogs are seen sleeping. Granny is also technically sleeping on the robot chair.
- While Early comes to the window and asks "Aw, who gives a flip?", in reference to the name of the mask's costume again.
- Rusty said that the Sheriff does as he answers his question, and he doesn't know what the hell the mask is anyway, but is getting it back to the Sheriff, though, Early said he would do it instead, also stating if he knows that sometimes being a good friend is more important than making money off a good friend.
- Rusty then asked that he went on online and found out the mask ain't even worth a "sh*t", not one wheat penny, as he says a single "goddamn."
- While Early comes to the window and asks "Aw, who gives a flip?", in reference to the name of the mask's costume again.
- When Early is going to get back to get the mask, he takes off his head, sprays his ink and covers his face with it, to step aside Rusty, since he invented the 79-dog system, and the only one who can defeated it.
- Since Early didn't use the house's door, he climbed up the roof, instead, and opened a doorway on the roof to a hole inside the house, where all of the dogs were sleeping, also snoring, and the costume mask was seen on a stool, which Early sneaks inside and climbs on the ceiling of the house, with his tentacles sticking out, which he licked with his tongue, and also stretching his tentacles on the ceiling to grab the mask costume, with a "come on", also with one of his tentacles sticking off it, but also sweating in the process, with one of those sweats landing on a dog, waking him up with a growl, while Early gasps, before falling back to sleep, which Early sighs and gets the mask back.
- After Early has the costume mask, on the ceiling, he stated that he "got it", Granny then woke up and said "Prowler!" two times, as she turns on the lights for the dogs to wake up, Early told her to "shut up", and called her a "woman", but Early does escape through the hole with the mask, to escape the attacking dogs, but reappears back in the hole to flip off the dogs to "suck it", but is then bitten and attacked by all of the canines, while Granny flashes the lights on and off, with the camera shutter clicking and alarms going off at the same time, including one instance of Early being dumped out of a dog's ass, which ate him, him aiming his 12 gauge at the dogs, which they steal from him, to him playing poker with some of the dogs. Early and the mask is eventually saved by Rusty, on the hole of the ceiling, when his tentacle was on the ceiling and Rusty grabbed it. Early is also covered with blood in almost all of these scenes.
- After being saved by Rusty, Early vomits three cards out of his mouth, which one falls into the house's hole.
- When Rusty asks Early why the "hell" that he would buy over 79 dogs, but the latter states it 90 dogs now, as he has a small white furry puppy bite his ass, and asks Rusty if he wants a puppy.
- Back at the Sheriff's house, Sharif is seen in his bedroom with Denny, telling him "it's okay", while the former is still depressed about the mask and thanks the latter. This bedroom was previously seen in the "Class of '86" and "Ink Is Thicker Than Blood, Which Is Thicker Than Water", respectively.
- When Sharif heard knocking on the door, he said "Prowler!", similar to Granny previously, and like at the beginning of the episode, he once again throws his star badge at the wall and lands on the ground again, while Denny told him to stay there and the latter would open the door to find the Who Gives A Flip mask on the porch, next to all of the squid ink, which Denny responds a with "what the hell", before Sharif comes out of the door with a "oh my god", because "it's back", which he also calls "my baby".
- Denny discovers all of the squid ink, from Early, all of over the porch, and asks the Sharif, "What's that tell you?", while the latter pulls down his pants, revealing his underwear, similar to what he did to one of the medalists in 1996, while Denny replies with an "Awww", and mentions the mask's costume name "Who gives a flip!", and tries to pull down his underwear but Denny said "no" a few times and "not the underwear, man", as he refused, as he laughs and starts dancing.
- When Denny was leaving offscreen, he tells Sharif to "alright, enjoy yourself."
- This episode doesn't have a normal credits sequence, as Sharif is dancing with his costume mask on, while in his cat pajamas, before he is swarmed by all of the dogs that Early previously had in his house, which attack him, these dogs most likely escaped from Early's house offscreen.
- He also twerks at one point when dancing with the mask on.
- This episode marks the last appearance of Ellis and the Jiggle Hut in the series.
